Playing with dirt

We have received so much rain here lately that it has been too difficult to get anything done in the yard. It rained all night last night so now is the perfect time to pull weeds before we are blessed with more rain this evening. Summer will be here before long and we will be complaining that it is hot and no rain. So I'm off to go and plant pretty things and enjoy the rays of sunshine.

Enjoy your day!

    wonderful fun filled weekend.

Alex and I are working on our freshwater fish aqauarium tht's in our home office. We are going to change the theme and give it a thorough cleaning. It needs it.

  2. Hi Sharon,
I see I couldn't spell earlier today. Oops! Sorry about that...:)
I'll take some pics of the tank and see how they turn out. That was nice of you to ask.

I'm glad you bought some new ferns.
Yeah! That sounds great. You should join "Outdoor Wednesday" with Susan at "A Southern Daydreamer". She's on mt blogroll if you're interested in joining her.

I have many other weekly events at the bottom of my blog. Just click on the picture and it takes you to the host of that event and blog.

The sage green paint in our laundry room is called "Heath". It's by Martha Stewart at Sherwin Williams. It's also in our family room and we both love the soothing neutral.
It goes with many other colors very well. Let us see what you paint.

    Have a great evening.

  3. Hi Sharon,

I'm right there with you on the rain. The weeds are flourishing because it has rained so much and I haven't been able to do much with it. Jenn and Michael and John and I went to the Farmers Market in Columbia on Saturday and the selection of plants was amazing. I hope I can get some work done in the yard and then buy some new things to plant in my yard.
